Privacy Policy

Last updated: 23 July 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Revi ("Revi", "we", "us" or "our") collects, uses, stores, shares and protects information when you use our website at revi.ae and our application at app.revi.ae (together, the "Service"). Revi is operated by [Entity Name] FZCO, IFZA Licence No. [pending], Dubai, United Arab Emirates. By using the Service, you agree to the practices described here.

Section 01

Information we collect

Information you provide

When you register and use Revi, we collect your name, business name, business category, location (Emirate), email address and WhatsApp or phone number, along with the preferences you set, such as your brand tone and language.

Business and review data

With your authorisation, we access the public review and business-profile data for the business locations you connect, including reviews, ratings, responses, and basic business information, so that we can display, analyse and help you respond to them.

Usage data

We collect limited technical information such as device type, browser, and actions taken in the Service, used to operate, secure and improve the product.

Guest feedback

When a guest scans a QR code at one of our clients' premises and submits feedback through the Revi feedback portal (revi.ae/portal/), we collect the star rating they provide, any written comment, and their name if they choose to include one. Providing a name is optional — feedback can be submitted without it.

This data is collected on behalf of the business that generated the QR code. That business is responsible for how the information is used within their operations. Revi stores it to display it to the relevant business and to power their service-quality monitoring.

Section 02

How we use information

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Section 03

Google user data and API Services

When you connect a Google Business Profile, Revi requests access through Google's official APIs and OAuth consent. We access only the data needed to provide the Service: your business locations, reviews, ratings, and the ability to post responses you approve.

Limited Use disclosure. Revi's use and transfer to any other app of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Specifically: we use Google user data only to provide and improve user-facing features within Revi; we do not transfer or sell this data to third parties except as needed to provide the Service, for security, or to comply with law; we do not use it for advertising; and no humans read your Google user data except where you give consent for support, where required for security or legal reasons, or where the data has been aggregated and anonymised.

You can revoke Revi's access to your Google account at any time through your Google Account permissions page.

Section 04

How we share information

We share information only with service providers who help us operate Revi, under contract and only as necessary. Our current sub-processors are:

We may also disclose information where required by law. We never sell your data.

Cross-border processing. Some processing — including by Anthropic — may occur on servers located outside the UAE. Where this occurs, it is governed by contractual safeguards consistent with PDPL Articles 22–23, and such processors do not retain your data beyond providing the Service or use it to train their own models.

A Data Processing Agreement is available to business clients on request — email hello@revi.ae.

Section 05

Storage and security

Data is stored on secure servers, with access controls, encryption in transit, and least-privilege access for our team. We align our handling of personal data with the UAE Personal Data Protection Law (PDPL). No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

In the event of a personal data breach likely to result in risk to your rights, we will notify the UAE Data Office and affected users without undue delay, in line with PDPL Article 9.

Section 06

Retention and deletion

We keep your information for as long as your account is active. You can request export or deletion of your data, or deletion of data obtained from Google, at any time by emailing hello@revi.ae. On account closure, account data is deleted or anonymised within 30 days; data obtained via Google APIs is deleted within 7 days of disconnection. Billing records are retained for the period required under UAE tax law. Revoking Google access (above) stops further data collection from Google immediately.

Guest feedback (ratings, comments, and names submitted via a business's QR portal) is retained for as long as the relevant business account is active. Guests wishing to request deletion of their feedback may contact us at hello@revi.ae with the approximate date and name of the business they visited.

If you choose to share a reason when closing your account, that feedback is kept separately from your account data (so it is not deleted alongside it) and is used only to understand and improve the product. It is not linked back to your account once your account data is removed.

Section 07

Your rights

Subject to applicable law, you may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data, object to certain processing, and withdraw consent. To exercise any right, email hello@revi.ae.

Section 08

Cookies

We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and to operate the Service, and limited analytics to understand usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

Section 09

Changes to this policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. We will post the new version here with an updated date, and for significant changes we will provide notice within the Service.
